I always tell people who mention the Illuminati to read about Golden Dawn which was real and a more interesting subject, in my opinion.

If the Illuminati was/is real (aside from the historical one), there is so much stupid stuff out there posted by high school and college kids that the word is meaningless. It's just a jumble of syncretistic nonsense, good luck to anyone deciphering any meaning aside from either putting on a tinfoil hat and committing to conspiracy theories.

The Isis cults go back pretty far, too, though I don't think there is a single continuous one.

Meh, I always assumed they were real. I thought that's what the secret and highly secured meetings at Buildaberg were or however it's spelled.
If they don't exist then it sure leaves a lot of unanswered questions about some of the things that go on and how certain things get hushed up so quick, never to be discussed publicly again.
 
I mean, satan literally means rival or challenger. That is what satan is. A less aggressive name is Israel, which means to struggle with G-d. Honestly, I rather be in those camps than to be a slave to G-d like what Islam means.
