Proof that a Commodore 64 can handle Windows 95?

This should be in OT...

BTW, thats an animated gif (not a little movie of a C64) in case you thought it was real! 😉

I thought it was kinda cute. Thanks, MR

I had a C64 (which is hardware, BTW) and the 'LOAD "WINDOWS",8,1' brought back fond memories. I like the long pause... to be truly realistic though it should have been more like an hour and a half. I remember a few tape games on the C64 where you'd start the load, go eat dinner, watch some TV and then maybe the game would have loaded. I remember when I first saw a hard drive on an 386 and it loaded almost instantly, I thought "This is more like it!"

😀 Good one! C-64 C-128 owner here! They are in the attic and they still run too!!! Another 10 years and they will be antiques :Q Imagine that!

Or, how about typing in a LONG machine language program, and have the power go out before you have a chance to save it to tape?

Wilo

Have you tried running a c64 emulator on a P233?

Runs slower than the c64. Now if you reverse that you can assume win95 will run faster on a c64.
