Proof of Liberal Bias?

You have been brainwashed by the rightwing establishment that two different people should be getting identical press coverage regardless of their actions. Additionally, this sample does not include radio, which was spewing anti-Kerry propaganda every time I tuned into one of them local "news" stations.

You could have the head of every network come on the air and say that they have a liberal bias, and people here would think it was a republican plot. 😛

Bush got three times the bad press that Kerry did. How much evidence needs to be stacked up for liberals to finally realize there is a liberal bias, that they've been brainwashed, and they hate to see a positive news station like foxnews on because it actually has a positive outlook and gives a different point of view they are used to.

Hmm. Maybe there is more negative press towards Bush because he is the incumbent and there are already rumors/facts about him. That the media can use. And of course fox is gonna be positive because they want the people to believe that the country is growing stronger so bush will win. Positive isn't always the best thing either.

And Fox news is a joke. I was visiting some friends yesterday and they were watching Fox, and I just happened to see Geraldo (sp?) interviewing Gary Condit's son. Geraldo got completely 0wn3d. Fox is propaganda entertainment, but I don't consider it news by any stretch.

Geraldo is a democrat, you know that right? And he's on foxnews. Kinda throws off your little "FOXNEWS IS RIGHT WING" idea huh. Figures he got "0wn3d" by him.

Yeah, sure. Geraldo is a Democrat like O'Reilly is an independent.

Is it possible that Bush DESERVES the harshness he "receives"? I mean seriously, the man's presidency has been less than stellar.

I think they let him off too easy as GWB probably deserved 10 times as much bad press. Not only do I think that he had a continuing track record as President that called for negetive reporting, but they missed many opportunities to call him out on the BS he continually put out on the campaign trail.

What credible news agency would actually come out and say they were biased?

Don't attack the study on this; it's done by a neutral group.

Clearly, quantity != quality. The stuff against Kerry on the news (swift boat anyone?) did far more damage than anything against Bush.

His point was that even if that happened, democrats still wouldn't believe it. They'd still deny the facts even when faced with mounting evidence.

Not according to Nov. 2nd. First President since Reagan to get over 50% of the vote.

Because the American people aren't exactly smart makes him a good president? Yes I am calling a lot of Americans dumb but you are blind if you can't see that. Not only when it comes to politics but in the choices they make and the things they do. Yes, I am American, and yes I live in America and yes I take pride in having my freedom to say this, blah blah.

of course geraldo isn't right wing. He's a tool that does what he is told. How else would someone of such limited journalistic integrety and competence be the lead reporter for a major cable news network?

He's the lead reporter? His show comes on when, on Saturday nights when the ratings are worst?

What makes you such a genius and superior to all other Americans?

I never said that I was a genius or superior but to see how the people have let the country go in the direction it's headed in says leaps and bounds about our current mental state. When things like celebrities divorces/marriages are more important than tragedies around the world, it makes the outlook for the future look bleak.

Since you want to rehash and repeat your weak/pathetic argument from the previous thread on this subject, I'll give you the same reply as before:

"Is it the Conservative's fault that the libs can't keep someone on the air because they/their views aren't as popular? Or do you think that programs such as Limbaugh and Hannity are kept on the air out of the goodness of the radio networks hearts? Yeah, right! They're popular and generate revenue. Period. As soon as the libs can do the same, they'll compete better."

Like the liberal radio hosts that can't compete, you need 1) a better argument and 2) something that people actually want to hear. Not the rehash, bash and burn diatribe that you put forth. Think November 2; that should have been your wake-up call. All the hate speech, accusations and attempts to dismantle the character of the President got you what.......? Another four years. Gotta Love it!!
As to the comment by cobalt concerning the intellegence of the American people that elected the President, remember that this is the same pool of voters that elected Clinton. Same pool, different outcome. It's also the same one that rejected Gore (no matter how you want to "spin" it). And it'll be the same pool that will pick the next President. It's all about the numbers and how they stack up. So, if you feel that this pool of voters is brain deprived, you should be used to it by now. Funny but I'd bet that you wouldn't make the same comment if a liberal got elected. Then of course, they'd be one smart bunch of voters, right?!? Pathetically predictable.

You actually believe that drivel 😕

You obviously haven't been to Church in quite a few years especially in the South.
