Mathematics or physics could be God. In which case you're just arguing that there's a God for the sake of having a God.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I presume you're referring to PMs to me. Regardless, this "logical proof" is not a proof. That's all I'm pointing out here.

That's what all proofs are. You can question the logic systems in which they are derived, or you can question the soundness with which the proof moves from one step to the next. And in fact there is debate on what rules should be allowed in logic systems. If we accept both the logic system and the correctness of the application, the proof stands.

How does having characteristics of a proof make it not a proof? Or do you mean a different definition of proof, which is not the one that Godel or any other mathematician means?

By the way, starting with "if God exists" is not really that strange. Tons of proofs use case analysis to examine what certain states would imply, then use that information in later steps. Perhaps the most common is the proof by contradiction:

Suppose X is not true, find a contradiction, conclude that X must be true.

The fact that the proof started with the supposition that X is true does not negate our logical ability to prove the veracity of X. It's a standard technique, considered by (almost) everyone to be logically sound.
