Proof Massachusetts Senate Candidate(democrat) is out of touch

In the intensifying Democratic precriminations game over who to blame if Coakley loses, here's one for the blame Coakley camp: On another talk radio show, "Nightside With Dan Rea," Coakley jabs Rudy Giuliani as a Yankee fan, then goes on to describe Brown supporter Curt Schilling, the great former Red Sox pitcher, as a Yankee fan as well. The host sounds incredulous -- "Curt Schilling? The Red Sox great pitcher of the bloody sock?" -- and Coakley initially sounds unfamiliar with him. She eventually reverses herself, but it's an odd moment in a state that was transfixed by Schilling's performance in the 2004 World Series, where he helped the Red Sox win for the first time since 1918.

This is just hilarious. If there ever was a sinking ship, her campaign is it. In such a liberal state to lose would be embarrassing.

The fact that the Democrats refer to the senate seat as the Kennedy seat and act as if it is the property of the family/Democratic party is what shows them to be out of touch.

Blue blood Democrats - the East Coast is swamped with them. They really do think that they are entitled to rule over the 'working class'.

Guess this is what happens when all of the normal folks get fed up with this attitude.

Having lived in MA, I've come to the conclusion that many people there look at them in the same way as some Brits look at the Royal Family. They've been there so long that they are a fixture. Some people will vote for a Kennedy even though they might not like them. It's just what they do.

Interestingly, just watched a commercial by Vicki Kennedy calling it the seat of the people. She must be a Republican. Either way, I'm still voting for Coakley tomorrow.

well taken at face value from you.....
considering most people on these forums believe you to be out of touch.
In a court of law you would be considered an EXPERT witness based on personal life experiences....lolol

Huh?

Massachusettes Dem candidate has a comercial out that refers to it as 'the peoples seat".

When did this show up? After the debate when Brown spanked the moderator and said "It is not the Kennedys seat it is The Peoples Seat"?

That's dumb political grandstanding and we all know it though. Good politics, but silly when you think about it.

I mean when you tell someone 'come into my office' do they say 'THAT'S NOT YOUR OFFICE THAT'S THE COMPANY'S OFFICE'?
