Hey guys!! I just installed a promise ultra 66 controller for my IBM ATA66 7200 HD. I was wonder is there any program that will tell me if iam running in ATA66 and not ATA33? THX

When you boot, there could be a screen that pops up with your ide device numbers...

On mine, if you look after the device number, it tells you whether the device is mode 2,3,4, etc....

I believe IDE mode 4 is DMA66

I am desperately searching for a Fasttrak66 Pro RAID kit. I can't find it anywhere! Everybody is on BackOrder with it. Is this becasue it is popular or is it because it sucks and nobody buys it anymore? Where might I find one? Any Help?

You could try and mod them if you're handy. There's a guy on EGAY that sell the Promise ULTRA100 modded to FASTRAK100. Why don't you check it out.
