I never went to any dance and i don't regret it. Doesn't mean you don't have a social life if you don't go.

Actually, at this ticket price, I'm not sure I've heard ANYONE say they're going for sure yet.

Just a whole bunch of people going "Fvck no" and a few dozen going "maybe..."

Either don't go, or make a joke of it by going with a hooker or something.
Or, scrape past the dress code by wearing a blazer, and stash some cold cathodes under your jacket. Once you hit the dance floor, break 'em out and light up like a christmas tree.

LOFL. CCFL's and a timer board 😛

Unfortunately, I only own one decent set of clothes, and that's my funeral suit 😛

i went to mine, but in retrospect, it was a waste of time/money

don't go, you can find a chick/get married when you are 25 or 35 , so the prom is irrelevent

Holy crap, $90? It was free at my high school. Didn't your class have any fundraisers throughout the year?

Think of what you could buy with $90 (you mentioned that it would clean you out, but just for consideration).

I regret not going to mine every once in a while, but most of that isn't due to the event itself. I regret lots of other things more.

Yeah, and we lost money on every single one of them.

eh i never went to my prom which was in 2000 and i don't regret it at all. most oft he ppl i knew that went didn't like it much and it was no where near like on tv where EEVRYONE goes has funs goes to a party and gets laid. i think only half the graduating class went so why go when all of your friends won't be there
save the money.

haha your school sounds like how mine was, none cared, and i do mean noone

im not going. there are plenty of girls i could ask, and everyone tries to convince me to go, but you know what? its just not ~$150 worth of fun. the music sucks, its long and sometimes boring, and i wouldnt be spending the night elsewhere anyways (damn parents). fvck it- ive only got a couple of months before college, when i can do whatever i want.

if you dont want to go and have no date. then dont go.
it is an experience tho...once a lifetime?

I changed schools for grade 12, and my grade is in 3 weeks. I sure ain't going. I dislike most of the people there and only hang out with 2-3 of them outside of school.

Definitally not going.

Don't go honestly if you don't want to. I would have much more fun going to the city with friends and hitting up hookah and a club🙂

So basically, fvck what everybody says.😀

I happily graduated high school without attending any of that crap. My 2 year younger GF (future wife), shamed me into attending her Home Coming and Prom. What a crock of shlt!

Well, we cared when they put free reserved parking spaces up for grabs. But once those were gone... Yeah, fvckit

Haha, I think going as an adult would kick ass, because if anyone gave you any sh!t you could bust their asses, and the administrators/teachers/whoeverthehell don't have any real authority over you 😛
