hey guys. I'm a junior at my school this year andI'm part of my school's two person prom commitee. I go to a small private school in Boston, and we are looking for a place to have a prom. Last year they had it on a boat that went out into Boston Harbor, which was cool, but we want to do something new and unique. Most people seem opposed to places like Hotels, because they are just 'typical' prom locations.

Any ideas guys? (Esp you people in the Boston area!) :)

Thanks!

Dunno what's in Boston, but my school (fairly small public school, we had combined Jr/Sr proms) had my Jr prom at the aquarium in Camden, and Sr. year it was at the (horse) race track. Both were very cool, different locations, and knowing our budget, they can't possibly have cost TOO much. Tix were <$100/couple, included sit-down dinner.

my highschool was forced to have Prom at school, in the gym, my soph. and junior year becuase students at the past 2 years prom's had gotten rowdy and trashed the place... so being forced to stay at school was our punishment. Needless to say we were greatful when during my senior year the administration told us we could try it a hotel again.

that sounds fun.. wish we could have done something like that instead.

Hooter's.............Fenway Park.................The Clinton Residence in upstate NY (Bill always likes a party).............................Oprah Winfrey's panties (they're certainly big enough to hold a crowd). Just a few, off the cuff suggestions.
