Is the thermal grease that's included with the Prolimatech Megahalems any good or better than AS5? The tube of IC7 was NOT in the crate with the other goodies unfortunately.

BTW the heatsink seems to perform very well. Idle temps are a good 10 degrees cooler than the TRUE and load temps around 3 degrees cooler.

10 degrees cooler than TRUE at idle? That's impressive. 3 degrees cooler at load isn't a bad improvement either.

Now, if their TIM has a cure or break-in period, you might see even greater improvements. I'm also curious, what TIM were you using with the TRUE?

i was going to say the same thing and ask all these questions myself. i have a megahalems in the mail for my Q9650 and im praying for a 4.2ghz OC with 8gb of RAM, though i can knock it back to 4 or 6 if need be when gaming so i can maintain a higher OC. what type of system specs are you running right now rubycon? specifically cpu mobo ram and fan configuration on your megahalems.
