Is the thermal grease that's included with the Prolimatech Megahalems any good or better than AS5? The tube of IC7 was NOT in the crate with the other goodies unfortunately. 🙁

BTW the heatsink seems to perform very well. Idle temps are a good 10 degrees cooler than the TRUE and load temps around 3 degrees cooler. 😎
 
10 degrees cooler than TRUE at idle? That's impressive. 3 degrees cooler at load isn't a bad improvement either.

Now, if their TIM has a cure or break-in period, you might see even greater improvements. I'm also curious, what TIM were you using with the TRUE?
 
i was going to say the same thing and ask all these questions myself. i have a megahalems in the mail for my Q9650 and im praying for a 4.2ghz OC with 8gb of RAM, though i can knock it back to 4 or 6 if need be when gaming so i can maintain a higher OC. what type of system specs are you running right now rubycon? specifically cpu mobo ram and fan configuration on your megahalems.
