i play lineage2 w/ europeans a lot. when they laugh, they go "Lol! ahhahaha"

i mean, they actually phonetically say "lol".. as in "lohl."

You know, just say "Lol" instead of spelling it out. That's what europeans do.

"lohl, hahahaha ahhaha "

First time I heard it i went 😕

I'm now used to it.

EDIT: oh, and I hear it because we're on ventrillo all the time.

^ Hehe I know exactly what you mean 🙂

Or when you play starcraft or warcraft 3 with koreans...you always hear the GG...I don't think some of them know what it means...but they all say it anyways...it's soo funny when you hear it...korean talk then all the sudden GG, or sometimes GGG...

One time recently I was at a panel discussion about building a rail line from JFK to Lower Manhattan and someone said something sorta maybe funny and this big jolly older feller behind me made a big "HA HA" laugh and then started saying "EL OH EL" really loudly while sort of laughing at the same time. That's the first and only time I've heard someone replace laughing with "LOL" in the real world. It sounded incredibly retarded.
