Projector question...

I'm looking to get that ready made Lumenlab projcetor thats coming out soon and I only have about 6 feet from the place I could put the projector to the wall it would project to. How big of an image can I get here?

I'm sure the picture is actually decent, however at that price I can't assume the lense is all the amazing, thus, if it does project a large image the edges will suck, or more likely, it won't be very large.

I'd rather have smaller, sharper image... oh well I guess I have to roll the dice. From what I can tell that projector is made for small rooms so it should work out well

I highly doubt 6 feet is enough to make any projector useful, but I guess if you're going that cheap you don't need a huge screen. How far away do you plan to have your seating?

If that's really all the space you can manage a projector isn't what you need.

Go get yourself one of the multitude of 30-37" 1366x768 LCD's that are on the market.

I was looking around on their forums and I saw that one of em was running a prototype at 7.5" and getting a 90 or so inch image. my seating will be right in front of the projector. So 6 feet or so away. This projector is because I figer at this point in my life its easier to move a projector around than move ginormous LCD tvs... a lot less fragile.

I dont have the space for a 30-37" tv and I dont want to deal with moving it when I move in 8 months Its not worth it at this point.
