If at first you don't succeed...lie lie and lie again.

Seriously, anyone that gives these sham artists any credence needs to be slapped with a frozen trout.
You ask, we deliver.

Isn't this Project Veritas run by the same guy who got caught red-handed trying to discredit women who had been molested by Roy Moore as children by sending in some woman to the Washington Post to lie about being molested?

Why would anybody trust these idiots? They defend child molestors for free.

Acorn, Planned Parenthood, the Roy Moore thing. Yeah, I don't believe anything he has his hands in.

On the original topic, are or should social networking platforms obligated to provide equal or fair coverage? They are private entities and don't have to provide free unfiltered speech.

But then how do you prevent the "elites" from implementing their mind control programs and turning us into sheeple?

Yep, run by a convicted criminal with a long record of fraud. The last I heard he was facing felony charges in California and perhaps also Florida. He's the perfect "news" source for brainwashed bubble dwellers.

Come to think of it, with his criminal record and his con-man skills, he sounds like a perfect GOP candidate. I wonder what he'll run for,

I'm not saying it is right, but being private entities they have no legal obligation that I am aware of. At least the question of spreading threatening misinformation has been addressed as with Facebook and Google and the Russians. Honestly I wish a certain President wasn't so active on that platform and would instead use traditional communication means like press releases and briefings.

Once again, confirmation that freedom of speech and fair play are now right wing principles.

As I said before, systems the left create and control now completely lack integrity. They just can't help themselves.

A medium now relied upon by media and public figures for open discourse is shamelessly manipulated, this is dangerous.

I thought Trump supporters were OK with ending net neutrality? If this is true (and it probably isn't, given the source, but leave that aside) isn't this just the same principle?

The thing about Twitter is it's slightly ambiguous whether its attitude to content should be that of a phone company, or that of a newspaper. But those who want to end net neturality have to be presumed to want all such platforms to be like newspapers - able to decide what content they want to carry. So how can they complain about that happening?

Indeed, a libertarian would have to argue that Twitter can censor as much as they wish, because it's their platform. Private property rights trump all else, no?

I never understand how the right tries to have it both ways on these sorts of issues. If you want to defend free speech in an absolute way, you can't also defend private property rights. You have to pick one or the other.

damn, someone let comrade OroroOOOrorooo out of the gulag.

Tell me, Ororoororo, since you spent the last 2 years shilling proven fake russian news over and over again (like that "epi pen" that was really a flashlight that you certainly believed Hillary's aid was carrying), are you ever going to apologize for basing your entire purpose here on intentionally fake bullshit?

I believe very strongly in the 1st amendment. Your abillity to state your own opinion and express yourself is and should forever be uncensored, even if you are an OKeefe.

Taking other people's words completely out of context in order to make it seem like they said something is on the other hand libel.

Project Veritas managed to shut down acorn through libel and lies. They merely exist to obfuscate the truth in order to force down their propaganda and lies.

Still spreading manure for the movement I see. It's a bit sad but eventually they'll recognize all your hard work and give you that coveted silver shirt.

Despite troll, and a likely lying source; even if true so what? Isn't this exactly free speech and freedom of business? I thought repoublicans liked freedom to do business as you please? I'm reminded of the great gay-cake protest of 2017.. If Twitter choose to only allow dick jokes on their privately run platform so what? It's their right. You want to force fairness doctrine on a private company? I thought republicans hated that?? So confused..
