After a long silence, the beast roared to life again today. Finally got the new fuel filter mounted on the frame, made up the -8 braided stainless hose, and bent up about 14 feet of 1/2" stainless steel tubing for the fuel line

Still not ready to drive, but it sure was great to hear it cackle again!

Next up is finish welding on the roll cage and subframe connectors, installing the replacement rear window panel, then I can jamb it out and put the body back together. Woohoo!!!

Still the warmed-over 383 Magnum

Can't afford to finish the car AND build the 520 yet. So I figure it's better to get it going with the 383, then build up the 520. That's gonna be expensive

How's your 5.0 rebuild going?
