After a long silence, the beast roared to life again today. Finally got the new fuel filter mounted on the frame, made up the -8 braided stainless hose, and bent up about 14 feet of 1/2" stainless steel tubing for the fuel line 🙂

Still not ready to drive, but it sure was great to hear it cackle again! 😀 😀 😀

Next up is finish welding on the roll cage and subframe connectors, installing the replacement rear window panel, then I can jamb it out and put the body back together. Woohoo!!!

Still the warmed-over 383 Magnum 🙁

Can't afford to finish the car AND build the 520 yet. So I figure it's better to get it going with the 383, then build up the 520. That's gonna be expensive 😕

How's your 5.0 rebuild going?
