This may have been asked/suggested before, but has anyone actually tried organising Team Anandtech. At the moment we are a mix'n'match of people doing RC5, OGR (now), GF, SETI, etc.

Has anyone tried marshalling the forces into organised efforts, for example diverting CPU power to any that is falling back. This is slightly in relation to this message: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=39&threadid=198387

There is only one drawback to what I am suggesting though. The only thing we are first in is Gamma Flux. In RC5, we are closing up to 1st, but there are people who are closing at a faster rate. OGR hasnt been running long enough.

The only suggestion I have is if a couple of the big guns in GF participate a bit in SETI.

HMM...maybe TA Cube should move over to SETI.

Who is closing in on /. (in RC5) as fast as we are?

I hope that even with some of the migration to OGR, TA will still have the fastest RC5 rate.

Actually catching them before the key is found is another story, however.

I, for one, am splitting my whole herd of 2 computers between OGR and RC5.

I would like to see TA start and finish OGR #1.
Thus we won't have to worry about the number of days till overtaking team this or team that

Not to give them any ideas, but if the DPC's just went straight into OGR I dont see who could stop them from being No.1

Nothing really could. However, they'd be losing out on RC5, so I doubt that'll happen.🙂
