one of my supervisors called me and asked me to basically make some cd's that will autorun, and upon inserting them into your cd drive, they will automatically popup a window with a list that contains programs that are clickable.

so to sum it up..
1. CD
2. autorun
3. a menu pops up with a list of the agenda
4. this menu contains 4 or 5 programs that are clickable

thats it..

does any1 know of any program that i can use that could do this for me? i was thinking about creating an autorun.inf file, and just making it run an html file with the list of the programs.

any other solutions?

You could activate the Find utility in the autorun.inf and pass it the parameters to search on.

OR have the non executable files hidden on the CD and activate the Explorer. (This will only work if the view hidden hiles selection is disabled on the system)

That's what I would do. I don't think there's an easier way.

I beleive autorun.inf is the inly way. the advantage of having a HTML file is that you don't need any installed libaries and it is nice and small.

Flash is good to.
