Here's the final rig. I will place explanations as to why I'm going a certain route.

Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 NVIDIA nForce4 --I have good experiences with Gigabyte boards and I'm going the 939 NF4 PCIe route because I won't upgrade for another two years and I'd like to be able to upgrade my videocard and CPU.
eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT
AMD Athlon 3000 "Winchester"--Great overclockability for a great price...and great availability. The 3200 fluctuates in price way too much and the availability isn't guaranteed.
1GB Mushkin Dual Channel PC400 Memory--I can't tell if this is dual or single channel, but I'm assuming it's dual channel because the new egg search brought it up.
200 GB WD SATA HDD --I'm using this for APPS. I don't like having apps and recreational files on the same drive as the OS.
WD 37 GB Raptor SATA HDD --For the OS.
Envision EFT920 19" Pure Flat CRT Monitor
ZALMAN Copper CPU Cooler for Socket 775/478/754/939/940
V-Tech X-Focus Case

I wouldn't necessarily purchase everything from Newegg unless shipping savings will be greater than the savings from buying from other places would be.

Assuming that buying it all from Newegg is what you want to do, though, you can push the button with confidence. Solid system.

Looks perfectly fine, psu?

Get a Forton 500 watt blue storm or Forton 530 watt.

I have an Antec True480 that I'm currently sleeve modding.

Does anyone have experience with that Mushkin memory? Is it dual channel because the packaging doesn't mention it, nor the specs.

Dual channal doesnt mean shit, as long as they are the same memory sticks, you're fine.

At least reccomend a good psu? Your telling me Forton isn't good? For 25 bucks more the forton is well worth it. That Seasonic doesnt look like anything special.

The WD 36.7gb Raptor is an utter waste and is beaten by the avg drives out there. Get the 74gig Raptor for OS and what not, then get a 120gig or 160gig Seagate drive. Those WD drives (aside from the 74gig Raptor) are extremely noisy as they do not use fluid bearings.

I agree with ribbon13. The Antec True Power is nice but the TruePower series as a whole is out of date (hence the reason they are releasing the TruPower2.0). THat Seasonic is very nice and the quietest non fanless PSU out there.

You can get a BFG 6800GT from Monarch for a bit cheaper, so I'd take that path if I were you.
