Progress of React O/S

Is anyone aware if there is any significant progress being made on the React O/S ?

I had tried it several months ago and did not have any success.

It sounds like a great concept but I am wondering if it might still be in the floundering stage or if any real progress is being made.

Does anyone know if this O/S has the proper backing to possibly come to fruition ?

It has come a long way, but it still has a long way to go to be usable imho. I'd say wait and see.
