programs menu help

I have a very bloated programs menu. I would like to put all the games into the games folder, video editing software into one folder, etc. I f anyone could help i would appreciate it
 
Hi,
I presume you are using win9x/xp or 2k.

go into program files.
Right click one of your [for instance games folders].
RENAME it to GAMES.
go to all your game links in your program files, and drag to this folder, one at a time. It is just the link, not the file.

Let me know if you get stuck, but once you do it, it turns out to be easier than expected
 
If you feel a little more adventuresome.... you can do the following: (for Win XP)
My Computer
C: (or whichever drive has Windows on it)
Documents and Settings
All Users
Start Menu
Programs

From there you can rearrange your programs and what not however you like it... additionally you can rename you shortcuts.. i renamed Internet Eplorer SATAN!!! for instance...

If you are the only user of that machine you can also drag all the progs from the 'All Users' programs folder to your user account Programs folder because not all of the stuff will be in either place.
