My dad got a new radio scanner and I'm trying to figure out how to program this thing. The manual is about worthless imo.
It's a Uniden BC370CRS scanner. I'm trying to enter in our county frequencies but I'm not sure it's working right.
I went to radioreference.com and found the frequencies. they are like ##.##### or ###.##### (example: 34.66000 or 134.42550)
When I go to enter this frequency into the scanner, I am only able to enter ##.### or ###.### (example: 34.660 or 134.425)
If I enter all I can and press the hold button to save it, it displays an error. if I hit the program button again, it appears to save that frequency.
Also, if the freq. is say 43.96250, I can enter 43.962 and then if I press 5, a small 50 shows up.
Searched on google for this before posting here and not finding much...
and when i let it go search off those I entered, i never hear anything. I know there isn't constant chatter, but we should hear something every now and then...
