Programmers HW Help needed PlZ!!! TCP/IP Class

Hey guys so i have no clue on programming....i just need a little syntax help....
1. fnc to perform ip header checksum computing?
2. add fields encessary for timestamp opion??

what does this mean?? Are there any links for help? I think its suppose to be in c or c++ thanks.

This excellent book discusses this in length. I'm not aware of any online resources, sorry.

If you can't purchase the book, read RFC 791 for the timestamp option of the IP header.
