programmer font for windows 10

For some reason the monaspac821BT font that I've been using for a long time, looks terrible on Windows 10. Does anyone know why this happens or can recommend a good monospace font.

I tend to use Anonymous Pro http://www.marksimonson.com/fonts/view/anonymous-pro, can't say I have used monaspac821BT, so dunno.

I use terminus[1], a bitmap font, for some programming depending on the application (doesn't seem to work well in Visual Studio).
