I was looking up some old documents and want to categorize them into some folders, and the thought came up on which spelling of program is the right one.

Is it Programming with two Ms or is it Programing with one?

Or am I just nuts and both are right in this crazy universe.

WTF traitor. What's next, 'mom', 'color' and 'thru'?

Now that I think of it though I agree with GA I don't like programme. mom or mum hmm. :hmm: Not sure about which I prefer. Yes it Is colOUr.

WTF thru? Can't think if I've even seen that spelling. Yeah it's through.

you guys do pronounce Mom as Mum though.

The big question is, 'program' or 'programme'. Personally I hate the latter, even though NZ English says that's correct. Yuck.

They are both correct, they just have different meanings.
Much like practice and practise.
In the US they have just amalgamated both meanings into one word (program or practice) and the other word is not used.
In countries which do (theoretically) use it, the meanings are distinct and signified by different words.
