Program to make small windows demo?

I need a small, free program to create an AVI or MPG file that
will record and show (kinda like those Teach yourself computer videos)
what's on my computer screen, where I click, etc. I'm trying to teach
someone how to open certain folders, where to click and all that.

Anyone know any programs I can do this with?

30-day-trials of screen cap / camera programs, tucows should list several. It'll probably be a flash file rather than AVI though if that matters.

Or use the printscreen key over and over, save to GIF, find a GIF animator.
