Does anyone know if there is a Windows program (prefer free) that can limit the amount of time a user (wife) can browse a website (facebook) per day? Or can this be done with my Buffalo router running DDR-WRT?

Thanks

not sure about a particular site but i think that windows 7 parental controls can set limits on internet access times.

wife picking FB over sexy time?
😛

Ehm, seriously, we are talking about an adult person (I presume) so ehm, talk to her. If she is spending 24/7 on facebook you have some problems.

Technology cannot solve people problems.

Yeah, thats going to go over really well when you wife finds out you've blocked her from Facebook.

No solution that software can fix. Talk or better disconnect the internet at home. Yes people lived quite well before the internet. I saw a news item about a couple that actually IM each other to talk while they both are in the home rather than talk face to face. Get a grip people.

There is a free plugin for Google Chrome named StayFocusd. You tell the plugin how much time you want to spend on certain sites for the day, and once you have surpassed your allotment, you can no longer access those sites for the rest of the day.

people used to do fine with horse driven carriages and souls still communicate through texts.
