program that begins recording when movement is detected

We have a little issue here at the office of someone taking change, hdd's, a pda, and a watch from peoples desks. I've had two 30gig hdd's I KNOW I left on my desk go missing the next day.

I've baited them. I took a 10gig defective hdd and wrote "120gb tested-good" on the top.. and I have a webcam I'm going to setup.. but what software to use?

The software that comes w/ the logitech webcams does this.

well don't make it too obvious else they'll notice the suspicion~ atleast try to keep it out of "normal" view and only if someone is looking for it would the get it
