Program for remembering text typed on computer

I am not too sure what I should be looking for but I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that can recall all the text that has been typed on to a computer.

The reason is that my little sister is a cutter and types in her journal on my computer then saves it onto her flash drive. I don?t want to just steal her flash drive and read it that would be to obvious. I just want to make sure she does not have thoughts of suicide. I want to make sure she does not kill herself.

Can anyone help me out? Possibly a free program is better
