Program for monitoring CPU temp?

I'm trying to find a free program to monitor the temperature of my CPU. (btw-I tried hmonitor, but it wouldn't install properly)

I just put together an Athlon 1.4 Ghz and it's been running at 132 F and I want to keep a close eye on it.

Anyone have some suggestions?

I guess more information would be needed from your system, such as board, chip etc, etc.

Anyhow, there are a few different proggys out on the net. Motherboard Monitor is one of them.

Do you have a thermal probe on the underside of your CPU? This would be needed for accurate measurement of CPU temps

Website for MBM

Download both versions 5.1.0.4 and 5.1.0.7. I got errors when I tried to use the latest version; 5.1.0.4 seems to be doing fine right now for me. If 7 doesn't give you problems, well, uh, good.🙂

You can give MBProbe a try, it hasn't got any funky UI, just shows info and also can assign events if temperature/voltage changes to some value.
