However, an easier, but less certain route is to get one who has a long incubation period, a sunni muslim of American, Canadian, or European origin. This group is more likely to mix in than a Gulf arab with heavy accent. We see this scenerio with Richard Reid and Jose Padilla.
Intelligence report says that Al Qaeda is heavily recruiting sunni Muslms of Africa(-American) descent and even women.
Unless there has been a secret marriage or a sharing of resources between Al Qaeda and the shia terror nexus, it is highly doubtful Iranians or other sh'ite muslims are playing a part, given that sunnis hate shi'tes more than they hate Jews.
So, who should we look out for? I would recommend the aforementioned characters with interests in the sciences. Who knows, these individuals may be incubating in engineering labs, nuclear plants, water maintenance, flight schools, structural systems, etc... In other words, these people could be our colleagues and friends in highly critical positions. Keep an eye out.
