I have an application that when installed works fine on a standard user. It also works fine when using a roaming profile. It does NOT however work when using a mandatory profile, the application error states that the profile is temporary on therefore will not work. My dillema is this, I need to make sure these users have the same profile each time hence the reason for using mandatory profiles. This breaks the app. If I set them to be just a normal roaming they can make changes which screws everyone else up. My workaround is to make the ntuser.dat read only, but this generates an error message each time they log off because they cant update the roaming profile..
Is there any way to supress the error on log off?
