so in my college career, I'm noticing that my math professors like to give an exam that has like 4 or 5 problems, and while it doesn't seem a lot.....they are really hard, and most of the class never finish by the time class is over.
how would I get more partial credit?
is it better to attempt every single one of them, even if it means just writing down the general formula, or do you think it is better to try to fully solve them, and leave a few problems blank?
I had an exam last week which consisted of 5 problems, with only 1 I fully solved. when I got to the next problem, i couldn't think of a way, so I skipped it...skipping here skipping there, I ended up not fully solving any of them, and just wrote down the ideas.....now i'm crappy scared.............................
the thing is that each problem is like 1 story problem....and it's not broken into parts....they just ask for 1 answer..
anyways, teachers, what do you guys prefer?
