<< Contract signed Posted November 13 14:26 by Armin
There will be an official press release at the end of the month spelling out the facts, but in the best interest of the participants I can already announce it here and now.
Last friday we signed the contract with our first paying customer for the ProcessTree network which, as you can imagine, is a significant milestone for our young company.
The good news is that as soon as the end of the month, some of the suppliers of ProcessTree will be able to earn money with their computers. The bad news is, that this only applies to a limited number of participants.
The project is a qualitiy-of-service monitoring system that allows real-time checking on the performance and availability of websites.
We will initially start with 25 locations, for each of which we plan to have a number of suppliers to provide a 24/7 coverage from each location. Each such group in a location we call an "ideal machine".
To be able to participate in an ideal machine group you will have to be in one of the locations specified, have a connection of at least 128 kbit/s which ideally should be active 24/7. The computer connected has to be at least a Pentium II/400 with 64 MB of RAM and we prefer Windows-based machines at launch. If you are interested to participate, please check back frequently.
We will be publishing the initial 25 locations during the next couple days, the project is planned to launch before the end of the month. The payout specifics will be published in the next couple days, as well. >>
