Do processors even make sounds?
Anyway, this is the problem: Whenever I do anything; cilck, drag, open My Computer, scroll a webpage using the wheelmouse, the sound of things being processed come through my Z640 speakers. Just little tiny dots of sound, depending on the action. The half second it takes My Computer to open, there'll be a long series of a thousand tiny "dit" sounds coming through the speakers. No sound can be heard if the speakers are turned off or if I plug headphones into the center speaker.
Is this a problem anyone else has ever had? Is it something I should be concerned about?
Windows XP SP2, Athlon 64 3000+, Chaintech VNF-3 Motherboard (built-in sound card) - What am I forgetting?

I took a screenshot of my device manager because I saw "C-Media AC97 Audio Device" and "Legacy Audio Drivers" which sound like two different sound card drivers. I'm grasping, but I really have no idea what could be causing this. I've checked connections a million times. Anyway! Thanks in advance for the help.
