Hi everyone, I just built my first computer, using a Sapphire A3-M275 and an Athlon XP 2400+. The board is 200/266 FSB, and is recognizing the CPU @ 1.5 ghz. What can I do? Any help is appreciated. I need the speed! -Joe
See... that's what my nevermind was, but I figured you knew it..
Anyway, it's probably in your bios.. Press F1 or DEL or whatever your button is to get into your BIOS on boot up, and it's probably under uh.... i have no idea.. but that's where you do it... Select the 266 option where you see 200 (or 133 where you see 100)
Sorry I can not be more helpful, but if you have half a clue.. that should help
Read the thing that comes with your motherboard called a manual. It does come with the product for a reason not just filler material. Since some boards you change fsb with a
jumper. Although most new boards all things are done through the bios.
