Problems with Xp and graphical issues on my ti500

Im getting some problems with my ti500 in xp.
First I cannot seem to save my color setting. Anytime i go into an opengl application or go into a d3d application all my color settings reset.

The other thing I am getting is a whole bunch of grey dots that start at then top in lines and head about 1/4 down the screen. This only happens in some d3d applications like dungeon siege or Alien vs predator 2. I solved the issue by lowering Hardware accleration by 1 notch, but Id rather not have to do that.

Can anyone help?

Win xp
asus a7v133
512 pc133 ram
geforce 3 ti500 using the 23.12 drivers (Ive tried all the newer ones.. it does the same thing)
sblive sound
amd athlon 1.2ghz

Do have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?
Are you overclocking anything in your system?

I feel your pain, Zarick. Same problems here, plus if I use a desktop background that did not come originally with XP, it will disappear if I just go into display properties, wheather or not I change anything.
