Hi,

I just purchased and installed this motherboard, when i start up my computer i get the message "BIOS is not installed". I installed Windows XP, it did give me a fatal error during installation but appears to be working fine. The problem i have is that my hard drive is recognised as only 2Gb (my system post's fine but none of my devices are detected but all of them do work).

Any ideas?
 
you probably mean OS (nto BIOS) not installed...anyway, if your motherboard is fairly new (like within the last 50 years), enter you BIOS and set the IDE settings to auto...then reboot.
