Im having a serious problem with my sblive value.
Ill be playing a game like asherons call and something will go kinda hay wire.. all the sudden all I hear is massive white noise. Its really bad.
The only way to fix it is to shut down the program and restart it.
I havent played ac for a while so I didnt see much of the problem, but it started up with some new games like ac2 and a couple of demos. All the sudden that white noise hits. Sometimes if I move around the white noise will pop and crackle and sorta go away... but then if I move around more it comes back. So its shut down and restart the game to get rid if it.

Specs
SBLIVE Value OEM
Nvidia Geforce 3 ti500
Asus a7v133
512 Megs of PC133 ram
AMD thunderbird 1.2ghz
Windows XP with service pack 1

You might have already tried it but have you installed the new sb drivers from their website.

Had and still rarely have the same problem with my sblive+ newest drivers + MSI Kt3 Kt333 mobo + XP...
Try turning down your hardware acceleration to standard or basic for your sound card...

Control Panel... Sounds and Audio devices... Audio Tab... Advanced under sound playback... Performance...

Play with different settings of hardware acceleration. Helps some I hear.
