problems with radeon 9600 pro

ok, heres the deal im running a 2500xp on a msi k7n2g board got the lastest drives for the radeon and board is all updated..... everytime i run a 3d game i get a black screen after about 30 mins of playing, but my computer is still on, my monitor just shuts off!!!!!! i mostly play battlefield(desert combat) whta could be the problem?

MSI has a system monitoring program on the CD that came with the MB, It will give you alarms if your power supply isn't up to par.

Are you running in AGP 8x mode or AGP 4x mode?

Have you tried running the Omega drivers, or just the stock Catalyst drivers?

While power supply is a possibility, its not likely. The 9600 Pros don't consume a lot of power. Unless you PSU is subpar to begin with . . .?
