Problems with PC-Cillin Internet Security

I bought PC-Cillin internet security 2006, and I could tell from the minute I installed it something was wrong with it. It took ages to install, about 40 minutes. Once it was done and I rebooted my computer, it would hardly start up. My comp kept crashing and stalling. I have tried on 2 different computers and before and after a recent reformat and I got the same thing.

What is the problem? My computer specs are P4 2.4C w/ 512mb of ram.
