Just got a P5N7A-VM and want to install XP 32bit OS. It will install OS okay to a single Sata HD; but when I set BIOS to Sata Raid and use 2 Sata HDD's, the OS can't find the drives at the Windows setup point. Loading of OS goes fine through the F6 and loading of the crappy Nvidia Raid Driver. I've updated the Bios as per ASUS Support request, but still no joy! I reloaded the driver to a new floppy, but it made no difference. I downloaded new NVidia Raid driver from NVidia download site. Still no Joy ! Is it maybe a bad controller?
Anyone else having this kind of problem with this board? Or, heard of any related problems?

I used this catagory as I see Raid ?'s; but maybe it should be posted in the Motherboard catagory ?:disgust:

Problem fixed. Seems when I made the floppy disc for the Raid Driver to be installed at F6. The Raid Controller driver wasn't made. A download of the most current drivers from NVidia and a making a new floppy, with both the Raid Driver and the Controller driver has allowed a Raid 1 install of the OS. Only took about 3 days to figure that out !!
