problems with NFS: Shift 2

for some reason, Shift 2 is running horribly on my system. there's no way the game can be THAT demanding, i can run Crysis Warhead, maxed out, at 60fps. even if i lower some settings on Shift 2, it still doesn't run anywhere near smooth. any ideas?
 
It's not that it's demanding, it's that Shift is terrible with multi-gpu's. You might have to wait for a driver fix as even ati cross fire setups are having reported flickering issue's.
 
oh i see. yeah i just downloaded updated drivers and they have included an application profile for Shift 2 that apparently address some issue, i'll have to see if it helps me. thanks man.
