I have had this msi video card since early may or so. Of late Ive been having a lot of problems with it. After a couple of hours to a day my desktop becomes unusable. every window starts to bleed together. If I click on the start button I just see a black outline form around it but Im unable to get the start menu. I can't even hit control-alt-delete to get the task manager.

Im not sure if its a driver problem or what. Im using the drivers that shipped on my drivers cd from MSI.

Im using a MSI motherboard with kt266a chipset
MSI gf4 ti4400
crucial and kingston pc2100 ram (512 total)
amd xp 1600+
dont overclock anything.

I removed my sblive!value card and it hasn't changed anything.

Any ideas ?

Try some other card and see if thats really the problem. Does it have a warranty?

Take your card and try it on someone else's system. If it dont work there either, contact the person who sold you it, or send it in to MSI for RMA testing yourself - new hardware like graphics cards usually carry an in-house 2 year warranty. Sounds like the card is broken, though, as I had something similar happen to a friend's creative Labs ti4400.
