There is where you are wrong. Most companies use a 3rd party zip code program like AddressFinder that auto updates to the latest zipcodes and zipcode changes. Chances are you will likely run into the exact same problem with another vendor.

Let me say it again. I've made many other purchases from many other vendors while at this address without problem. Netflix and Monoprice have been the only two to have problems. The other 50 or so vendors have been fine.

so contact the shipping company (UPS/FEDEX?) that monoprice uses and have them fix your address on file...

I don't quite see what that would do, seeing as Monoprice is putting the wrong zipcode on the shipping label. They are shipping via USPS btw.

50 different vendors since the problem started happening? If not, maybe the zip code problem is new.

The netflix problem was a while ago. I've had much success since then, up until now. I'm guessing a few companies here and there are using old zipcode information.

just a few zipcode update companies out there and multiple vendors use the same company

Beats me, all I can say from experience is that this is a rare thing to happen. I highly doubt my other purchases have coincidently all come from vendors with company A while Netflix and Monoprice use company B.

You fail at e-commerce!!!

Most companies who ship items directly have UPS terminals on site. They type in your address and print the shipping labels immediately from the UPS terminal, then when the UPS guy comes, all he has to do is load his truck...the UPS system does the auto correct, not the monoprice employee...

Therefore your address is wrong in UPS's computer.

I've had an order from them lost in the mail before--delivery confirmation showed it had shipped to my address but there was no package anywhere. I just chalked it up to a stolen package that the idiot mailman left at my door. Now I wonder...
