Hej Guys,

I thought you would like to know that this software has been optimalized to run better on ATI hardware than on nvidia. The reason is that simple that the the person who wrote this softwer doesnt have NVIDIA hardwer. In the beginning it didnt even run on nvidia cards. It is basically an extraction from slg, a command line gpu renderer written by the same group of people. It is also very much os and enviroment dependent, and full of unsolved bugs, which can greatly affect the performance of different cards in different situations. So I think it is unfair towards the video card owners buyers etc to post such an information.

How do I know that? That I am a user of slg and luxmark and I happen to have a look at their codes in the repo.

I am not sure what would be your next step, but at least the community should know about it, and if possible please remove from the tests because of the aboves.

Thank you!

Which competing benchmark software company do you work for that makes you feel inclined to create a new account here and post this "public service announcement"? ;)

It may be true, it may not, but pretty much all benchmarks work better on some hardware/platforms than they do on others...

no please dont misundertand, I dont work for any soft company.
Well I am not that young, anymore to carry any fire, but I do some programming, and many 3d renderings, and I do actually a book on it as well.
So its not working less better because of the other platform, its because he didnt want to work it better for the other platform...
I just asked that shake of correctness please consider what I wrote.

To set the matter straight, we are not favoring any brand. We have actually tried to get the most out of every hardware, and it is pretty unfortunate that early nVidia OpenCL drivers were plagued with really poor performances. This has now been fixed and the current speed record with LuxMark has been obtained with nVidia hardware.
Losbellos has just been banned from the LuxRender forum due to rude and offensive conduct despite various warnings, which might explain why he is trying to libel our efforts.
