After I restart the service it crunches for a little bit but then stops again. Any idea as to what might be causing this?

It could be that you have job packets that are around 5 kb. Check out this thread at the Team Phoenix Rising Forum. I have it set up to run as a scheduled task every 12 hours to get rid of those pesky job packets.

Couldn't get that to work. 🙁 Any other ideas?

yeah this has happened to me several times, but only on the laptop.
i havent narrowed it down.
it stops crunching and the cache just empties and refills after i restart the service.
very strange.

It seems the lifemapper client needs some work.

its been pretty well behaved for me.
its strange, i have the error logs
or i did, i havent checked them in a while.
it seems to get hung at the end of a run
the taskman still shows it 'running' but its using anywhere from 3-7 % of the cpu.
but its not really doing anything

That's what happens to me. Did you find a fix?

I think I might have fixed it. I bumped up the core voltage because of SSE problems in tests with F@H and now it's going strong again. Processor must have been losing information because of low voltage (1.3v).
