Do you know what codecs iTunes uses when running MP3 files? Because these codecs are probably broken on my windows. Recently, I've been hearing lots of extra noise when running MP3 songs on iTunes, and when I run the same songs on WMP they sound perfect.
And by the way, I hear the same noise when running some files on Quicktime Player.
Could you please point me toward the broken codecs and a way to repair them?
