problems with installing CS

i've been using CS on my 98 for a while now with no problems....i just installed win2k server on a new HD and when i install halflife on it and try to apply the updat, it says that my version of the upgrad is in a different language!! what gives??!!

anyone have this problem too?? please help!
 
did u get the right update????

thats the only thing. otherwise the only things u need to do is get

the Half-life update to 1.06 i think and then get the Cstrike mod. Get the full version of it. it should be version 1.1

just install those two things and it should be fine.

oh yeah, when it asks u to look for updates after installing half life, just click no cause THIS IS the update.

the thing is, i did this process for my win98 and there was no prob...that is why i am assuming that i am doing it the right way this time. the only difference is that i am installing it on 2k. could that make a differnece??
