Whenever I click a submit button, or a drop-down button, IE freezes for aabout 15-30 seconds, what is wrong with this?

Try this:

Goto Add/Remove Programs, go down to Internet Explorer, and click Add/Remove and then run a Repair on it. See if that works, that can sometimes fix a bunch of problems.

If you dont have Internet Explorer on the list because you're running the version of IE that came with your version of Windows, try upgrading (unless you're using Windows XP, and then you're just stuck).

What version of IE do you have installed? Obviously something is f*cked up with it, so try re-installing or updating the version. Or use an alternative such as Nutscrape/Mozilla or Opera.

LiQiCE had a great suggestion there, but the first thing that came to my mind was a USB device acting up. Just a hunch... :shrug;
