i have a problem.my hard drive sound like they lose power when i play games like far cry 2 and fallout 3.and then my system locks up and my fans seem to increase speed slightly for a second or two till my power is returned to my hard drives.then it unfreezes.
computer specs are:
logisys 630 power supply

my specs are:
logisys 630 watt power supply
asus a8n sli se motherboard socket 939
amd athlon 64 4000+ rev. E6 overclocked to 2.91 ghz
fsb @1250 mhz
drr400@333mhz
1 sata II 7200rpm hard drive
2 eide 5400rpm hard drives
ati radeon hd 4850 1GB gddr3 not overclocked
4 case fans
1 dvd burner
4 logisys 12 cold cathode lights
sunbeam 4 port fan controller
sound blaster audigy se 2 sound card

Try running without the overclock.

What does the label on your PSU say about amps/watts available on the different rails?

lol i had my switch on the back at 230v instead of 115v.was wondering why my voltages where so unstable.voltages now never fluctuaute below ten percent.before my 12+ and 5+ would drop down too 3.9 and 10.5.voltages now are at 11.53 to 11.73 and 4.90 to 4.97.

I don't guess that this is your problem, but in the past I've had problem with the molex style contacts on one of my PSUs expanding and becoming loose from the pins on the drives, I frequently had to tighten the contacts until I got tired of it and replaced them with real Molex brand connectors - no trouble after that.
